Tarangire National Park
Your safari adventure begins on the very first day with a visit to the Tarangire National Park! We will pick you up from your hotel in or around Arusha and during the 2.5 hour drive to the Park, you will enjoy wonderful views of the natural landscape and a sight of local communities. Upon arrival at Tarangire National Park you will go on a game drive. Tarangire National Park lies between the meadows of Masai Steppe to the south east and the lakes of the Great Rift Valley to the north and west. Within the northern part of Tarangire is the permanent River Tarangire also known as the life-line of the park particularly in the dry season when most of the region is totally dry. The park is famous for its 545 bird species and several animals including impalas, elands, black rhinos, buffaloes, giraffes, Bohor reedbuck, Coke’s hartebeest, Thompson’s gazelle, the greater and lesser kudu, the unusual gerenuk and fringe –eared Oryx. At the end of the day, we will make our way to the Africa Safari Lake Manyara camp. Be sure to take a dive in the swimming pool!

Serengeti National Park
On day two, we will drive out to the famous Serengeti which is a few hours drive. And again, the route is of spectacular landscapes and of local communities as they go about their daily activities. After lunch we will go on a game drive all afternoon in this remarkable park. The Serengeti is known for its endless plains of savannah and forest landscapes. The park is most famous for the migration of animals involving about 1.5 million herbivores and followers. At the end of the day we will drive to the Africa Safari Ikoma for a much needed rest.
The next day, which will be the third day, we will start the day with a game drive in the Ikona Wildlife Management Area and in the afternoon, we will explore the area by foot with a ranger (walking safari) which will end with a sundowner. A unique experience! You will spend another night at Africa Safari Ikoma.
On the fourth day, we will spend one more day in Serengeti and in the late afternoon, we will head to Ndutu/South Serengeti and spend the night at the Africa Safari South Serengeti. The area is famous for the Calving Season of the Great Migration, an absolute highlight of the annual wildebeest migration.

On the 5th day, we will wake up early in the morning and after enjoying breakfast, we will drive into the amazing Ngorongoro Crater. The Ngorongoro Crater is the largest intact crater in the world. The crater has an estimated life of 30,000 large mammals. Due to its natural borders, there is an abundance of wildlife throughout the conservation area which is home to the Big Five including the African Black Rhino as well as hyenas, zebras and elephants to name a few. In the afternoon, we will drive to the Africa Safari Lake Manyara, where we will spend another night.

Lake Manyara National Park
On day 6 of your safari, we will visit the magnificent Lake Manyara Park. This park is known for its breath taking panoramic views, waterfalls, babbling brooks with clear water and hot springs. We will go on an all-day game drive in Lake Manyara and if you like to walk, you can also book a 2-hour walking safari. On foot, you can enjoy giraffes, buffalos and other animals from a good distance. In the afternoon we will drive back to Arusha and arrive before dinner. You will stay overnight at Africa Safari Arusha hotel and the next day we will take you to the airport for the flight to Zanzibar.

Zanzibar – Stone Town
When you arrive in Zanzibar, our local staff will pick you up from the airport and bring you to the hotel. The first night you will stay at the Shaba Boutique Hotel, which is located in a beautiful building in the heart of the old centre of Stone Town. In the afternoon (and/or the next morning) you can explore Stone Town. Walk through the narrow streets and capture the feeling of the old colonial Arabic Architecture. You can visit the former slave market, the Anglican Cathedral, the House of Wonders, or the old Arab fort.

The next day we will bring you to the beautiful Zanzibar Bay Resort. This beachfront resort offers 104 rooms, a huge infinity swimming pool with a tropical island, a pool bar and our magical Jetty bar on the Indian Ocean. The beaches are pristine and the ocean is clear blue. You will enjoy three nights at this beautiful resort on an all-inclusive basis. On day 11 we will bring you back to Zanzibar airport for your departure.

This is the last day of what we hope would be a lifetime experience! You can enjoy one last stroll on the white sandy beaches or spend a few more hours tanning in the tropical sun. Later we will pick you up from the Reef & Beach Resort and bring you to the airport for your departure back home.
