Day 01

Collection from airport and transfer to Arusha City. Overnight at The Arusha Hotel (Standard Room, bed & breakfast)

Day 02

Following breakfast, collection from hotel and drive to Tarangire. Lunch on arrival. Afternoon free for leisure time; swimming/resting. Dinner and overnight stay at The Tarangire Sopa Lodge

Day 03

Following breakfast, Game Drive in Tarangire National Park with a picnic lunch. Dinner and overnight stay at The Tarangire Sopa Lodge

Day 04

Following breakfast, drive to The Ngorongoro Crater. Lunch on arrival. afternoon free for leisure time; swimming/resting. Dinner and overnight at The Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge

Day 05

Following breakfast, full day Crater tour with picnic lunch. Dinner and overnight stay at The Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge

Day 06

Following breakfast, drive to Central Serengeti and then lunch. Option of resting or a short afternoon’s Games Drive. Dinner and overnight stay at The Serengeti Sopa Lodge

Day 07

Following breakfast, morning Game Drive and then lunch. Then an afternoon Game Drive. Dinner and overnight stay at The Serengeti Sopa Lodge

Day 08

Following breakfast, drive to The Ngorongoro Crater and then lunch. afternoon free for leisure time. Dinner and overnight at The Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge

Extending Your Family Safari with Zanzibar Island

Following a family safari we always recommend extending your holiday to include Zanzibar Island as it’s a fantastic beach location and gives you and the rest of your family the chance to relax and enjoy Spice Island. We have a great itinerary below which gives you an extra three nights (recommended). Please note that during holiday season, some of the resorts have conditional stays of minimum 5 or 7 nights:

Day 9

Scheduled flight from Arusha to Zanzibar. Upon arrival, collection from airport and transfer to one of the recommended resorts (we will forward recommendations to you via email).

Day 10

Following breakfast, enjoy total relaxation at the pool and beach. Overnight at your chosen resort.

Day 11

Another day of relaxation at the pool or beach and overnight at your chosen resort.

Day 12

Check-out time is usually 10:00am. If your departure is later in the day, you can enjoy all the facilities at your resort until pick-up time. Depending on port and time of your home-bound flight, we will arrange transfers and possible flight to another location (e.g. Dar es Salaam) to connect with your international flight.
