Day 1

Pick up from your hotel in Dar es Salaam or at Dar Es Salaam Airport by your guide and leave for Mikumi Nationalpark from Dar Es Salaam being nestled between the Uruguru Mountains to the East and the Rift Valley Escarpments to the Southwest.As it is close to the Selous ecosystem and therefore part of it,it benefits from the highest game density of the entire conservation area. The Mikumi National Park obtains a good impression of the African animal world and is suitable very well for a short visit. After arrival at Mikumi National Park you go on game drives around the park.

Dinner and overnight Vuma Hill Luxury Tented Camp.

Day 2

After Breakfast go to Selous. Selous Game Reserve named after the explorer Frederick Selous.The Selous Game Reserve is the largest protected wildlife reserve, a UN World Heritage site and a pristine uninhabited area larger than Switzerland.The topography of the park from rolling savannah woodland, grassland plain and rocky outcrops cut by the Rufiji River and its tributaries. Activities are game drives and a walking safari. Together with an armed ranger or Masai guide you explore the bush by walk.

Dinner and overnight Rufiji River Camp.

Day 3

Full day of game drives at Selous Game Reserve named after the explorer Frederick Selous.The Selous Game Reserve is the largest protected wildlife reserve, a UN World Heritage site and a pristine uninhabited area larger than Switzerland.The topography of the park varies from rolling savannah woodland, grassland plain and rocky outcrops cut by the Rufiji River and its tributaries. Day 4

Early morning game drive at Selous Game Reserve. After late breakfast you return to Dar Es Salaam with arrival late afternoon/early evening Return to Dar es salaam (6-7Hrs / 1,575 kms)
