Day 1

Hot Springs

At 0830hrs you will be picked up from your hotel and driven to Kikuletwa Hot springs. Famously known as ‘Maji Chemka’, it is a magical place where the natural pool is warm water caused by underground geothermal springs. Spend your day just lazing in the pool. For those more active, engage yourselves in swimming or jumping in the water by using rope swings. Depending on your preference, you will be served freshly cooked local food of your preference (barbeque ‘nyama choma with roasted bananas, or french fries mixed with eggs, tomatoes, and onions locally known as ‘chips mayai’ among other delicious foods available). In the evening you will be driven back to Arusha and dropped off at Zawadi House Lodge http://zawadihouse.com

Day 2

Arusha Town to Tarangire National Park

You’ll be picked up from your hotel in Arusha town or Kilimanjaro Airport. Your driver-guide will drive you to Tarangire National Park for a game drive. Enjoy an afternoon game drive through the park with a picnic lunch. This park is known for holding one of the largest elephant herds in Africa. Lions, giraffes, and zebras are commonly seen and there are over 500 different birds species. Later in the evening, you will drive to Pamoja Africa Lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.

Day 3

Tarangire National Park To Lake Manyara National Park

After breakfast at your lodge, you will start your safari at 8:00 am, as we drive to Lake Manyara with a picnic bush lunch. We will enter the majestic Lake Manyara National Park and embark on this Tanzanian safari. This small park is sandwiched between the Rift Valley escarpment and the large soda lake, Lake Manyara. It is a beautiful location with a variety of game, including giraffes, elephants, baboons and the rarely seen tree-climbing lion. In the late afternoon, drive back to your lodge, for dinner and your overnight at Pamoja Africa Lodge.

Day 4

Lake Manyara National Park To Serengeti National Park

After breakfast at your lodge, your driver-guide will pick you up and head to Serengeti National Park. This is one of Tanzania’s most famous parks. Great herds of wildebeests, buffalos, smaller groups of elephants, giraffes, topis, zebras, impalas, and grant’s gazelle are resident here all-year-round. Lions and leopards are easily seen all-year-round in Central Serengeti. You will enjoy a late afternoon game drive in the park. Later in the evening, you will drive to your accommodation for dinner and overnight at Pamoja Luxury Tented Camp.

Day 5

Serengeti National Park – Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast, you will travel back to the adventurous trail that takes you into the Ngorongoro Crater. Grass steppes and acacia forests are home to almost all of the species of animals found in the East African savannah. After a few hours’ drive from Serengeti National Park, you will have the chance of spotting the Big Five—lions, elephants, buffalos, rhinoceroses and leopards. After extensive game viewing and a picnic in the crater, you will leave the highlands of Ngorongoro in the afternoon and travel back to Karatu. You will spend a night at Pamoja Africa Lodge (mid-range accommodation).

Day 6

Lake Manyara National Park To Arusha Town

Early in the morning after breakfast at 8:00am, your driver-guide will pick you up for a village walk in Mto Wa Mbu. Here you can taste the local banana wine and see how it’s made. Later you will be driven to a Masaai village to learn the Masaai culture before heading back to Arusha or Kilimanjaro Airport.
