Day 1

Arusha to Tarangire National Park

After breakfast at your lodge you leave early to Tarangire National park. This is the third largest park in Tanzania and it is characterized by the amazingly large herds of elephants that can be encountered in this park. The Baobab trees are one of the other highlights of Tarangire and the Tarangire River that flows all year round is the life blood of the park. Many animals predators and the preys alike gather around the river where you can do excellent game viewing. Overnight is at jambo campsite for dinner.

Day 2

Tarangire National Park to Serengeti National Park

After breakfast depart 07:30 for Serengeti passing through Olduvai George, the site of the Leakey family discovery of fossils 50 km long and in some places 90 metres deep. It drains the slopes of the nearby mountains plus of human and animal ancestors dating back to almost two million years. Olduvai Gorge is a canyon carved by water through the southern part of the Serengeti Plain. The george is about the Serengeti Plain. Its chief claim to fame is the rich treasure-trove of human and animal fossils that it has yielded. Meals and overnight at seronera campsite.

Day 3

Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast we will start at 08:00 drive to Ngorongoro Crater, passing through Olduvai Gorge, the site of the Leakey family discovery of fossils 50 km long and in some places 90 metres deep. Day 4

Ngorongoro Crater Tour to Manyara National Park

Early morning breakfast proceed directly to base of the Ngorongoro crater for a full day game drive to see the eighth wonder of the world. Game viewing on the bottom of the crater. Later proceeds back to Manyara in the evenings for Overnight at Panorama Campsite.

Day 5

Lake Manyara National Park to Arusha

Wake up Early and start early morning (at 8.00am) game drives in Lake Manyara National Park, Then later drive back to Arusha for Overnight or for your flight  back home.

Day 1

Leaving Arusha we drive circa 120 km on tarmac and circa 4 km on piste arriving at our first park – Tarangire National Park – We take you on your first Game Drive arriving back just before dusk to overnight in luxury tents, self contained/shower etc., situated on the slopes overlooking the Tarangire river, a permanent water source, enabling you to enjoy the sight of the wildlife coming to drink. Day 2

Rising early we game drive, after which we continue our safari to Lake Manyara National Park. We shall Game Drive in this spectacular park at the base of the western wall of the Great Rift Valley before retiring to our hotel on the rim of the Rift Valley. Day 3

AM Cultural Village Tour, We drive to and enter the world famous Serengeti national park Serengeti National Park. Day 4

A full day, dawn to dusk Game Driving in the Serengeti National Park. Today we have over 14,000 km in which explore the ever changing flora and fauna, in this park made famous in the Film “Serengeti shall not die” by Dr. Bernhard Grzimek. You too shall never forget the splendor of the rolling Savannah and open plains, home to the most spectacular migration on our planet! Day 5

Our last game drive in Serengeti National Park taking in some of the “Kopjes / Inselbergen” granite outcrops in which many predators love to sit and look out over the plains for their prey. Day 6

Ngorongoro Crater – a World Heritage Site – where we spend the maximum of six hours allowed game driving! Down inside the Worlds Largest Perfect Caldera (collapsed volcano) with a permanent residence of circa 30,000 animals. Ngorongoro Crater is a breathtakingly exciting place to see Black Rhinos in East Africa. Late afternoon exit & return to Arusha Overnight Ilboru Safari Lodge BLD

Departure Day: Transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport for those returning home.
