Your adventure begins with a transfer to Marangu Gate, the starting point of the Marangu Route. After completing registration and park formalities, meet your mountain guide and begin your trek through the lush rainforest.
Follow forest trails surrounded by tropical vegetation, with opportunities to spot birds and other wildlife. After approximately four hours of hiking, arrive at Mandara Hut, where you will relax, enjoy dinner, and spend the night.

Meals: Lunch and dinner, subject to the confirmed package arrangements.
After breakfast, continue your climb through the forest as the landscape gradually changes into open heathland. The trail offers beautiful views of the surrounding mountain slopes and the dramatic peaks of Kilimanjaro.
Continue toward Horombo Hut, located at approximately 3,720 metres above sea level. Upon arrival, settle into your hut, enjoy your meal, and rest after the day’s trek.

Meals: Breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
Spend the day around Horombo Hut enjoying the mountain environment and taking time to rest. Depending on the final itinerary, an acclimatization walk toward the Mawenzi area may be arranged with your guide.
The surrounding landscape provides wonderful opportunities to appreciate Kilimanjaro’s volcanic scenery and views of its distinctive peaks. Return to Horombo Hut for dinner and your final overnight stay on the mountain.

Meals: Breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
After breakfast, begin your descent from Horombo Hut toward Mandara Hut before continuing through the rainforest to Marangu Gate.
At the gate, complete the necessary departure formalities and meet your driver for the transfer back to your agreed drop-off point. Your four-day Mount Kilimanjaro trekking experience with Adventure Makers Tanzania concludes here.
