Begin your adventure with a transfer to Zanzibar Airport for your flight to Kilimanjaro International Airport, if departing from Zanzibar. Upon arrival, meet your driver and travel to Marangu Gate on the eastern side of Mount Kilimanjaro.
After completing park registration and other formalities, begin your trek through the lush rainforest. Enjoy the beautiful vegetation, fresh mountain air, and peaceful forest surroundings as you make your way to Mandara Hut. After approximately four hours of hiking, arrive at the hut for dinner and an overnight stay.
Accommodation: Mandara Hut
Meals: Lunch and dinner.
After breakfast, continue your trek toward Horombo Hut. The trail gradually leaves the rainforest and enters open heathland, offering beautiful views of the mountain landscape. Along the way, enjoy views of Mawenzi Peak and, in clear weather, Kibo Peak.
The hike takes approximately five to six hours, including a break for lunch. Arrive at Horombo Hut in the afternoon, settle in, enjoy dinner, and relax in preparation for the following day’s descent.

Meals: Breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
After breakfast, begin your descent from Horombo Hut toward Mandara Hut. Enjoy the changing scenery as you descend through the heathland and rainforest. Stop for lunch along the way before continuing to Marangu Gate.
Upon arrival, complete the park departure formalities and meet your driver for the transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport or your agreed drop-off point. If your package includes return flights to Zanzibar, proceed to the airport according to your confirmed flight schedule.
Meals: Breakfast and lunch.
