Day 1: Arrival in Arusha

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha Airport, you will be welcomed by our representative and transferred to your accommodation in Arusha. Depending on your arrival time, you can relax at the lodge, enjoy the surrounding scenery, and prepare for your upcoming wildlife adventure.

Your safari guide will brief you about the itinerary and what to expect during the journey. Spend the evening relaxing before your safari begins the following morning.

Meals: Depending on your arrival arrangements and accommodation plan.

Day 2: Arusha to Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, meet your safari guide and depart for Tarangire National Park. The journey takes you through the beautiful countryside of northern Tanzania, with traditional villages, open plains, and scenic landscapes along the way.

Tarangire is renowned for its large elephant herds, impressive baobab trees, and diverse wildlife. During your game drive, look for elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffaloes, and a variety of antelope species. With some luck, you may also spot lions or leopards resting in the shade or moving through the bush.

The Tarangire River is an important source of water, particularly during the dry season, attracting many animals to its banks. Enjoy a picnic lunch during your wildlife excursion before continuing your afternoon game drive.

Later in the day, leave the park and travel to your accommodation in the Karatu area or an allocated campsite, where you can relax and enjoy dinner.

Day 3: Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha

Begin the day early with breakfast before driving towards the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Descend into the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater, one of Tanzania’s most remarkable wildlife destinations and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

The crater’s varied habitats include grasslands, woodland, wetlands, and a soda lake, creating an excellent environment for wildlife. During your game drive, look for lions, elephants, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeest, hyenas, and other animals. Ngorongoro is also one of the places where you may have a chance to spot the endangered black rhinoceros.

Enjoy a picnic lunch in the designated area before continuing your wildlife exploration. In the afternoon, ascend from the crater and begin your return journey to Arusha, where your 3-day Tanzania safari concludes.
