DAY 01: Arrival – Arusha National Park

A warm welcome awaits you on your arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport. You will be met by your personal guide and transferred to Arusha National Park for game viewing. You will opt to return to your lodge for lunch, or leave with packed lunches This is the closest park to Arusha town and it is famous for its black and white colobus monkeys; among other wildlife. These amusing primates are not only exquisite in their unique markings, they will delight you with their antics. As dusk starts to fall, you will drive to your lodge where you can relax and enjoy dinner. Dinner and overnight at ARUMERU RIVER LODGE (FB)

DAY 02: Arusha – Lake Manyara National Park.

You will enjoy a morning game drive into Arusha National Park, with the option of walking safari. Your driver will then take you to SHANGA RIVER HOUSE for a sumptuous treat of lunch before departure to Lake Manyara National Park. You will have an opportunity for a late afternoon game drive in Lake Manyara National Park. This is a great little park that offers the stunning backdrop of the Great Rift Escarpment and an array of the lesser seen animals on safari. Later in the afternoon, retire to your lodge before dinner. Overnight at KIRURUMU TENTED LODGE (FB)

DAY 03: Lake Manyara National Park – Karatu

After a sumptuous breakfast at your lodge, you will depart into the park for a morning game drive before driving to Karatu, to arrive at your lodge in time for lunch. You will have an afternoon of leisure to enjoy lodge facilities. You may also opt for a tour of the organic farm near the lodge. Dinner and overnight at NGORONGORO FARM HOUSE (FB)

DAY 04: Karatu – Ngorongoro Conservation Area

Early start to get into the Ngorongoro Crater bright and early to spend a half day exploring this open and stunning intact caldera. Featuring some of the densest populations of hyena and other predators there is always something interesting to see and do. Picnic lunch at the crater floor before returning to your lodge for an afternoon of leisure. Dinner and overnight at NGORONGORO SOPA LODGE (FB)

DAY 05: Ngorongoro Conservation Area – Serengeti National Park

After a deliciously prepared breakfast, your driver guide will be anxiously waiting to transfer you to Serengeti National Park, where you will arrive at your lodge in time for lunch. Afternoon dedicated to game viewing. This stunning eco-system, part of the Mara/Serengeti grassland plains, has long been held by Africa-philes as a must see destination on safari, in part for the diversity and number of animals, but also for the uniqueness of this environment which, while often thought of as the norm in Africa, is actually quite rare. Dinner and overnight at SERENGETI SOPA LODGE (FB)

DAY 06: Central Serengeti – Western Corridor

After breakfast, depart for game viewing drive, possibly of the migration, in the western corridor of Serengeti National Park. Option of lunchboxes in the park, or lunch in the lodge. Dinner and overnight in MBALAGETI CAMP (FB)

DAY 07 and DAY 08: Serengeti National Park – Western Corridor

Full day game drives in the park. You may opt for hot lunch in the camp or packed lunch boxes in one of the picnic site in the park. dinner and overnight in MBALAGETI CAMP (FB)

DAY 09: Serengeti – Arusha – Departure

You will enjoy an early morning game drive in the park followed by breakfast at the camp. Thereafter, transfer to Grumeti Airstrip for your flight to Kilimanjaro and connect your outbound flight.
