Spend a relaxed day photographing birds around the lodge gardens and nearby natural habitats. This is an excellent opportunity to become familiar with local bird species while adjusting your camera settings before beginning the safari. Sunbirds, hornbills, weavers, bee-eaters, turacos, and colorful songbirds are frequently seen around the property.
After breakfast, travel to the Maasai Steppes, an outstanding destination for photographing dry-country birds.
